F.A.Q. - Can I Be Your Assistant?
I get this question a lot and I wish I could say yes to everyone, as I like meeting enthusiastic people. The truth is that I work in very cold, remote and miserable conditions. And once there, we wait for weeks, doing nothing and then we go down under the ice and dive until we get so cold that we can no longer function. My assistants not only have to look after themselves but need to take care of me as well as I am always staring through a viewfinder. If something big is about to eat me I would like to know about it.
