Drifting in the waters of the Antarctic Peninsula, this million year old colossal iceberg is a beautiful ice sculpture temporarily frozen in time. Antarctica holds ninety percent of the world’s ice and seventy percent of its freshwater, so if even a small fraction of the ice sheet in Antarctica melts, the resulting sea level rise will completely remap the world, as we know it.
